Young People Most at Risk of HIV (meeting report & discussion paper)

Resource:

A meeting report and discussion paper published in 2010 by the Interagency Youth Working Group, U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) Inter-Agency Task Team on HIV and Young People, and FHI.

The paper examines 3 segments of the youth population and their risks for contracting HIV: Young Men Who Have Sex With Men, Young People Who Sell Sex, and Young People Who Inject Drugs.

There are summaries and analysis of current peer education programs and social networks around the world that are helping raise awareness and supporting youth in these 3 at-risk population groups.
