HIV/AIDS in My Neighborhood

Where Do I Stand??
Do I help the infected??
Or runaway and hide??
Do I push away my pride??
To help those who are in need??
HIV is the infection that kills the neighbors.
Not the gun or the knife.
You been lead to believe.
Yes, its true they help too.
But the number one killer is AIDS/HIV and you.
If you turn a blind and all you carry are lip balms.
Just like the people in my hood that don't use condoms
Or see the dangers that lurk
Inside the pleasure they seek.
They been told and told.
To wrap it up but it seems I lose
Another everyday.
Do they not see what I see when it comes
To the number one killer of African Americans
Or do they see but dont speak just use mums.
That won't help us or unamericans.
It's time to stand up and take a stand.
Be a real women or a real man.
Help those in need and take the test.
Because knowledge is always best.
